Research Access
(Qualified researchers are given a reasonable amount of access to the collections and assistance in their research needs keeping care and security of the collections a priority.) The general public does not have access to repatriated or culturally sensitive objects.
General conditions governing researchers are as follows:
1. All research projects require a prior appointment.
2. Access to the collections will be at the discretion of the Executive Director, Museum Director and Curator.
3. The Poeh Center and Poeh Museum reserve the right to request references from researchers.
4. Admittance of researchers to the collection storage areas shall be at the discretion of the Executive Director and Curator.
5. The Poeh Museum may request copies of the notes taken on the collections, and copies of research papers and publications should be given to the Pueblo of Pojoaque .
6. Photography of collection items, or Xerox copies of collection records requires approval. A Permission to Reproduce Form (attached) must be completed by the researcher and approved by the Museum Director and the Executive Director.
7. Procedures for access to the collections will be distributed to the researcher, which the researcher must sign, before admittance to the collection areas.
