Silver Bracelet, Sandra Realivazquez (Pojoaque Pueblo)

Pojoaque Pueblo artist Sandra Realivazquez uses three dimensional sterling silver concave planes on the outer surface of her bracelet to establish an architectural relationship between the subtle, sloping dished out surface of the bracelet, and the two strong, central lines emerging from the center of the piece. A delicate, cuttlefish like background texture compliments this relationship between forms.
